The USS Vengeance was an unmarked Federation Dreadnought-class starship under the command of Admiral Alexander Marcus and in the service of Section 31 in 2259. It was launched from the Io Facility, a spacedock in orbit of the Jovian moon Io.

One of the most important starships in interstellar history, Enterprise (NX-01) was the culmination of the NX Project. The NX-01 was the first NX-class starship, launched by the United Earth Starfleet in 2151.

Deep Space Station K-7 was a Federation deep space station in the mid-23rd century. The station was constructed by Starfleet and administered by a civilian staff. In 2268, the station's manager was Mr. Lurry. K-7 was located within Federation space and near the border with the Klingon Empire.

The USS Enterprise (XCV-330) was an Earth spacecraft that was in service prior to 2143. A painting of this ship and the mission patch appeared on the wall of the 602 Club on Earth in 2143.

The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) was a 23rd century Federation Constitution-class starship operated by Starfleet. In the course of her career, the Enterprise became the most celebrated starship of her time. This was the first Federation ship to bear the name Enterprise.

The Klingon Warbird was a class of warship used by the Klingon Empire in the mid-22nd century and in the mid-23rd century of the alternate reality. In 2151, the Vulcan diplomat Tos claimed that the Klingons would have sent a squadron of Warbirds to attack Earth, had he not negotiated for the transport of Klaang's corpse to Qo'noS.

The spacedock in a synchronous orbit of Earth, commonly known as Spacedock, was a Federation Spacedock-type space station in service with Starfleet in the late 23rd century. Spacedock was under construction in 2257.

V'ger was a massive entity and one of the most extraordinary lifeforms ever encountered by the United Federation of Planets. It generated enormous levels of power and threatened Earth with destruction until it found a way to evolve.

The "planet killer" was an informal name given by Spock in 2267 to an automated, self-propelled doomsday machine capable of destroying entire planets. This robot was encountered by the Federation starships USS Constellation and USS Enterprise.

The USS Kobayashi Maru (ECS-1022) was a Federation starship that served as a component of the Kobayashi Maru simulation, a no-win-scenario at the Starfleet Academy. In the scenario, the vessel was under attack by several Klingon Warbirds.
