Eaglemoss EMST0083 Star Trek Bajoran Transport [With Collector Magazine]
"The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few."
- Science Officer Spock
Bajoran transports were a type of warp-capable transport utilized by the Bajorans following the Occupation of Bajor. During the late 2360s, through the 2370s, these vessels made frequent trips between Bajor and Deep Space 9, this included a daily morning run.
Nog and Jake Sisko would often enjoy watching the Bajoran girls, who come up to the station with their families, board and debark Bajoran transports at the station's airlocks. In 2372, Jake mused that they seemed to have spent most of the previous three years doing nothing, aside from playing dom-jot and watching the transports dock.
In 2369 a Bajoran transport was used to bring Kai Opaka aboard Deep Space 9. In 2371, a Bajoran transport experienced a molecular fracture in one of its warp plasma conduits, and the entire relay system exploded upon the conduit's collapse. The resulting radiation leak claimed, temporarily, the life of Vedek Bareil Antos.
This class was often used for the transport of members of the Vedek Assembly. Both Bareil Antos and Shakaar Edon transported to DS9 from Bajor aboard this type of vessel. Razka Karn piloted a ship of this design in 2372.

Historical Account: "The Bajorans" - The Bajorans (also known as the "Bajora") were a humanoid species native to the planet Bajor in the Alpha Quadrant. The Bajorans had one of the oldest and richest cultures in the quadrant, though in the 24th century, they suffered greatly at the hands of the Cardassian Union. With their liberation from the Cardassians and the discovery of the Bajoran wormhole in 2369, the Bajorans were thrust onto the interstellar stage. Bajorans resembled Humans in appearance. They were distinguished by a series of four to seven horizontal creases across their noses.
Bajorans also featured light- and dark-skinned variants, although the dark-skinned Bajorans appeared to be a very small minority. The Bajoran heart was mirrored along a horizontal axis, unlike the Human heart, which is mirrored along a vertical axis. A puncture in the lower ventricle of the heart would cause instantaneous death. Bajoran women gestated for only five months, forming an intricate network of blood vessels between the mother and the fetus. During the pregnancy, Bajoran women were frequently afflicted by bouts of uncontrollable sneezing.
